Grammy-award winning legends and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Isley Brothers are back with their first single in four years, titled “Friends & Family,” featuring Snoop Dogg.
The song is the perfect summertime family reunion groove. In the accompanying visual, the sharply dressed OGs are celebrating life with their friends and family — both in-person and virtually — as Snoop adds his West Coast flair via Zoom. The music video also features cameos from some of their famous friends, such as singer Syleena Johnson and actresses LisaRaye McCoy, Vivica A. Fox, Kym Whitley, Sherri Shepherd and more.
For more than six decades The Isley Brothers have delivered R&B classics and solidified themselves as music and style legends. In 2017, they released a collaboration album with Carlos Santana called Power of Peace, and 10 years prior, their holiday album I’ll Be Home for Christmas became their 30th studio album.
Ahead of dropping the new song, the group went head-to-head with fellow R&B pioneers Earth, Wind & Fire for a Verzuz battle, garnering more than one million viewers on Instagram Live and Triller.
