Phylicia Rashad will keep her job at Howard University — after making controversial comments about Bill Cosby's release. As previously reported, after it was announced that Cosby was going to be released from prison, Rashad tweeted, “FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!”
After facing backlash, she released a statement saying that she supports sexual assault survivors.
Although many thought she may lose her job as Dean of Howard's College of Fine Arts, a rep from Howard says that she will keep her job. The rep told the site, “Personal positions of University leadership do not reflect Howard University’s policies.”
BILL COSBY CONSIDERING SUING MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Meanwhile, Bill Cosby and his wife Camille Cosby is considering suing Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where he was in prison for almost three years. According to TMZ, specifically, Bill and Camille Cosby could sue Montgomery County for abuse of process. This term is used when “legal proceedings are deliberately used improperly for malicious reasons.”
Cosby has claimed that the prosecutor misused the legal system by disregarding his agreement with the former D.A.
