Five months after crowning Piglet (aka 98 Degrees’ Nick Lachey) as its season five champ, The Masked Singer is getting ready to return with a newly announced roster of guest panelists. The hit Fox reality singing competition featuring judges Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke revealed the line-up of additional star power on Monday (August 30) for the sixth season slated to kick off on Sept. 22.
The guests include comedian/actors Joel McHale and Cheryl Hines, Will & Grace co-star and Instagram legend Leslie Jordan and producer/Black Eyed Peas leader Will.I.Am. McCarthy also recently revealed a brand-new mask for the upcoming season, the fearsome, blinged-out Bull, which joins previously revealed costumes Banana Split, Cupcake, Dalmatian, Hamster, Mallard and Queen of Hearts. Crime Scene Kitchen star McHale and I Can See Your Voice’s Hines have been guests on the show before, while Will and Jordan are new to the Masked game.
The two-night sixth season premiere will kick off at 8 p.m. on Sept. 22 and continue on Sept. 23. Season five found former boy band star Lachey taking the prize over pop singer JoJo (Black Swan), with rapper Wiz Khalifa (Chameleon) coming in third; other contestants included Omarion (Yeti), sibling band Hanson (Russian Dolls), model/singer Tyrese Gibson (Robopine), Bobby Brown (Crab), Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath (Orca) and Kermit the Frog (Snail), among others.
